Ear Care Education provides Rotherham Ear Care Centre multi award- winning training courses in all aspects of ear care.

Our courses are delivered by a dedicated team of specialist nurses who have extensive clinical and teaching experience.

Our courses are well-established and well respected backed by comprehensive protocols which are recognised and recited in the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) Clinical Knowledge Summaries.

The course dates listed are to be delivered at the planned venue on the planned date.

We are also able to offer bespoke training in your own workplace or a venue of your choice for a minimum of 6 delegates. This option allows you to choose a suitable place and date for your training needs. If you would like further information regarding this please contact us. 

All of our courses are delivered face to face excluding the half-day updates, which are delivered via Microsoft Teams.

Ear irrigation & Instrumentation 

This is a one-day course suitable for all healthcare workers including nurses, HCA’s, audiologists and other healthcare practitioners. This study day will provide the practitioner with knowledge and practical experience of ear irrigation and instrumentation underpinned by an understanding of the basic anatomy and physiology of the ear and the need for preventative care, including patient education and advice. 

Microsuction 

This is a one-day course suitable for all healthcare workers including nurses, HCA’s, audiologists and other healthcare practitioners. This study day will provide the practitioner with knowledge and practical experience of aural Microsuction underpinned by an understanding of the basic anatomy and physiology of the ear and the need for preventative care, including patient education and advice.

Ear Anatomy  Infections, Treatment and Management 

This is a one day training course which aims to provide practitioners with a foundation of knowledge on which to base clinical decisions when providing care to patients with ear infections. It is suitable for any health care professional who is required to assess, diagnose or treat individuals with ear infections.

Irrigation and Instrumentation half day update 

This is a half-day session that allows delegates to refresh their knowledge of ear anatomy and the irrigation and instrumentation procedure. It will also include procedural updates in line with NICE guidance. This course is suitable for all healthcare workers who have previously attended the Ear Care Diploma or an Irrigation and Instrumentation course

Microsuction half day update 

This is a half-day session that allows delegates to refresh their knowledge of ear anatomy and the Microsuction procedure. It will also include procedural updates in line with NICE guidance. This course is suitable for all healthcare workers who have previously attended the Ear Care Diploma or a Microsuction course.

One-One Mentorship 

Ear Care Education is able to provide a mentorship program for those who find it difficult to access a suitable mentor in their workplace.
